Contact lenses should - if used correctly - pose no threat to sight. However, any concerns should be taken straight to an optician. Can I sleep in them? No - overnight use is not recommended They are for cosmetic use only and are not designed to correct any defect of sight. Please remember that your Fresh and Funky contact lenses are best used on an occasional basis and not recommended to be worn all day every day, or when you are asleep. Fresh and Funky contact lenses are easy to insert provided you familiarize yourself with the insertion procedure beforehand. Always soak lenses for at least two hours in Fresh and Funky contact lens solution before wearing for the first time. Increase wear time by 2 hours per day starting with a maximum of 4 hours. Always wash and dry your hands with lint-free paper before handling your lenses. Before removing your new lens from its packaging, check that the packaging is intact and has not been tampered with in any way. Check the lens is immersed in fluid and is intact before opening. The wearer is advised to see a professional eyecare practitioner for a thorough eye examination and for practical training on the insertion, removal, and aftercare of the lenses. Please retain all packaging for future reference. Directions for use Insertion Take your right lens out of its storage case. Ensure that the lens is not inside out. Place on your right index finger and verify the shape. Hold up the upper lid using your left hand's index and second fingers, whilst holding down the lower lid with your right hand's second finger. Do not look at your finger as it approaches your eye as your brain will tell your eye to close. Instead, focus on a point on the other side of the room. Place the lens onto the eye. Repeat the procedure for your left eye. Removal Look up and whilst holding your right lower lid down, gently pinch te bottom edge of the lens and lift out of your eye with the tips of your index finger and thumb. Repeat the procedure for the left eye. Cleaning, disinfecting & soaking Always follow the instructions on the bottles of your Fresh and Funky contact lens solutions. DonÕt take short cuts and never re-use solutions. Make sure that your lens is at the bottom of the solution before screwing on the top of the case. Remember - saline is not suitable for use as a cleaner/disinfectant for your lenses. Tearing usually indicates misuse. When in doubt, take them out!
